Materials:
Screws & Cylinders are
made of alloy steels [ EN-24 for
hardened / EN-41B for nitrided
screw
& cylinder ] Surface treated
Screws and Cylinders can operate
at the high temperature/high
pressure conditions prevalent in
the extruder. The highest grade of
materials are used for fabricating
the machinery. |
Rotor:
Made from Mild Steel and
accurately machined to enable
Dynamic Balancing.
Chambers: Made of Thick Mild
Steel Plates. Side Parts: Made of
good quality Cast Iron. Mild Steel
is used in case of Grinders above
15" size. Rotor is housed in the
side parts by means of heaving
duty bearings. |
Body: Made according to
requirements; either of M.S. or
S.S. or M.S. with S.S. lining.
Rubber padding is provided
between the body and the lid to
prevent metal to metal contact
and escape of material. Body can
be water jacketed from the outside
if required so that material can be
quickly cooled avoiding formation
of lumps. |
