Rotor:
Made from Mild Steel and accurately machined to enable
Dynamic Balancing.
Blades: Are H.C.H.C.
(High Carbon High Chromium) tipped with a hardness of 60 on
the Rockwell C Scale. High-tension bolts are used for
fitting blades. Rotor Blades can be adjusted relative to the
fixed blade so as to provide for uniform cutting throughout
the pelletizing operation.
Side Parts: Made from
Mild Steel and securely bolted to the Pelletizer Stand. The
Rotor is fitted between the side parts by means of a shaft
bearing assembly. The bearing housings for the feed/guide
rolls are housed in the Side parts.
Guide Rolls: Made of
alloy steel and spring tension loaded to grip the strands
with uniform pressure. The guide roll can be lifted by an
attached lever mechanism.
Drive: Power is provided
through a motor mounted internally on the pelletizer stand.
The drive unit is capable of variable speeds through the use
of stepped pulleys.
